Workin for the Weekend
I finally have most of my stuff moved in and apartment decorated! Will put pictures up on fb soon :)
This week has been one of the most stressful of my entire life. Not only was I trying to figure out how to get around in a new city, make sure I have all the stuff I need before I become indefinitely car-less, and do everything Caltech requires of new students BUT I had to deal with a ton of drama with the parents. Apart from having separation anxiety (I guess its comes from being an only child) which was making my folks a little wacky, things became a 1000x worse bc my dad apparently found some pictures of me and Naeem which made him realize we were still dating. This made me angry for two reasons
1. How did he find these pictures, and why is he still snooping on me even after I’ve graduated college?
2. If someone did send the pictures (and I have a vague idea of who it might be), what would posses them to do something like that? I mean come on, don’t you have better things to do than screw someone over. Plus, isn’t this MY business? I’ll tell my parents about Naeem when I’m good and ready, and I DO NOT need someone meddling in my personal life!
The reason I brought this up was because these events caused me to consider shutting down this blog. After my mom told me about the pictures, I realized that the only two places where pictures of me and Naeem exist are this blog and fb. However, I made the decision to keep this blog up because this blog means a lot to me, and I’m not going to let someone who disagrees with my lifestyle choices control my actions.
And also, meddler, if you’re reading this blog right now, I challenge you to have the balls to contact me directly instead of reporting my actions to my father. If you know how to contact my dad, you sure as hell know how to contact me.

I’m really really excited about this upcoming weekend! For one, I’m about to see Naeem in an hour and I’m ecstatic! Haven’t seen him in over a month! To add to that, Naeem was amazing and planned a California coast mini-vacation for us this weekend! We’re driving up the coast of California and stopping at beaches! I can’t wait! And if it couldn’t get any better I’m going to spend the next two weeks in SF with Naeem :) It’ll be great to get away from this hot weather (it’s pretty much like Houston weather here because of all the forest fires nearby!) and see all the exciting stuff around Berkeley and SF :D I can’t wait!
